Would love to have some ping but dang they are so expensive and they aren't any better than other brands at $400 less.

As an i210 player I’ll be looking at the i525 as my next set

Too bad you didn’t get to try the power spec lofts, that and maybe different shafts.

i tried the 425 and we didn't get on one bit, had the i200 and they weren't too bad, settled for Callaway DCB's but there isn't a lot of feedback. So i will be looking for new set next yearl.

I was a little disappointed to not hear more on the loft differences between these sets and how that translates into carry yardage. I play the i210 irons (and G400 Woods & hybrids) currently with a 5 HNDP (USA) and like the look and feel of both the i59 and i525. But the i59 is the only set with 4-degree loft differences from W-6 iron (that's my strong preference). The i525 (and 425) irons have 5 degrees of separation between clubs. It doesn't matter if you choose Std, Power, or Retro loft spec (they are all 5 degrees different per club). To me, that's too much separation. It also means that the 6 iron on the i525 is 27 degrees, which is the same as my 5-hybrid. I've contacted PING and they can customize a set with Std & Retro lofts and make some modifications but it still leaves too little loft difference in the 7-6-5 clubs. Any thoughts on this? (Maybe I should just get the i59's and shut up?)

I have to say with that bit cut out on the hosel, it just makes all their clubs pig ugly.... my own opinion obviously.
