A few recommendations … level your alternate characters to whatever level necessary for weight reduction perks … get the excavator suit for those mules … park them in a centralized location with a vendor and legendary scrip dealer … write down what types of items go on each mule (rifles, melee, medical supplies, fusion cores, etc.) … in general, I only put apparel, plans, and god rolls in the stash because you can run out of space very quick since the weight reducing perks do not apply to the stash …

For fallout 1st folks, you don’t need a friend … I moved thousands upon thousands of items with no problem except for once when the house lost power …

That's all great advice and all, but isn't it totally ridiculous and disgusting, that we even have to do this? I'm not nearly at this point of the game myself, but this is just depressing and makes me want to forget the game exists. It's simply embarrassing, considering that even FO1 members don't get unlimited storage.

I have 10 characters. All over 1800 lbs with all the weight perks equipped. I have at least 10000 weapons and armours to scrap on sept 3rd. Yet I don’t think what I have will be enough to unlock all of the new legendary plans. Point being. If you’re a new player, DONT bother hoarding because it will take you a couple of years of hard grinding to even make a dent in unlocking the new plans.

People acting like doing this is hard or time consuming. It’s not. It’s a fast and mostly safe way to move things between characters using a private world. When you log out you have 2min before the world Despawns to log in with your other character. If you have an actual 2nd account like me you can park them in the private world while you log back on forth to anchor the world for a little bit longer just in case you main crashes for some reason. I run one account on my Xbox and the second on my iPad via cloud gaming.

For fo1st members, you can do this on your own using a private server. Same principal, you just have to be quick with a char swap and go back into the same private world. Dont quote me on the exact length before private server goes poof, but i think its a couple minutes. Ive shuffled and reshuffled a couple thousand pounds of legendaries, ammo, junk and more

This should be especially handy with the upcoming moleminer treasure hunters dropping legendaries this weekend! Thanks
I've been stuck balancing the line between over and under encumbrance since the new legendary system was announced lol, snacking on grilled radstag every 30 minutes for the extra carry weight.
It's going to be such a relief on the 3rd

I have F1st & all my mules are completely stuffed with great stuff from many years of playing. I have all of them using weapons-20% armour so I can overload them with 10 times as much. I also make sure all the weapons are at their basic level as they weigh a lot less.
I keep my excess sugar bomb rads & outfits on them as well.

You don't need a friend to mule. I've been solo muling for a couple of years now with zero issues. Granted I have Fallout 1st and use the private server. The way to do it is, once you have your mule character, the best place to put down his camp is right behind The Wayward. My Mule has a very basic camp. All you need is a couple of benches, scrap, stash and ammo box and that's pretty much it. Once your Mule is setup proper, switch over to your main character. Enter a private server with your main and fast travel to The Overseer's CAMP which is directly across from The Wayward.

From here, you want to use the Stash Box at the Overseer's Camp to sort out whatever legendary gear, plans, ammo or meds you want to transfer. Once you load up your main with all your stuff, walk down to the trailer house that is right next to The Wayward. Enter the 2nd door (the one that is furthest away from The Wayward) and once you enter walk to the back and turn left and you'll see a desk. Empty all of your gear into the desk. From what I know, it's got unlimited storage. Once you transfer everything into the desk. Exit the trailer and leave the world. Switch back over to your mule character and enter the private server.

I haven't timed this extensively, but I've managed to go around 3 mins between characters, and it still puts me in the same private server each time. With your Mule, walk into the trailer, head over to the desk and collect all the gear that your Main dropped and then proceed to place it in your Stash which should be right behind the Wayward. I've NEVER had a problem doing it this way and haven't needed to rely on anyone else for help. If you're just making once transfer, the whole process takes about 6-8 minuets and most of that is spent on loading screens. Easy peasy just make sure you're doing it in a private server. If you don't have Fallout 1st then fallow the instructions in this video as it is the way to go to ensure safe transfer of your stuff.

EDIT TO ADD: Great Video guys, keep up the great content. I actually ran into Oskapt a few days ago as he was "playing" The Mothman Event from the basement hahahaha.... Got the Photomode shots to prove it lol.

Muling ain't easy, but it's necessary! lol Great tips, and take it from me, you do not want to just drop stuff. They can disappear even in a private world. Also if it's something you can't transfer and you just double click through the warning, it will destroy the item, including transferable items if it has an atom shop paint. Once I was dropping a bunch of stim packs and legendries and my game crashed (had been on several hours of course) and all that stuff was just gone. Not in my inventory when I logged back in and not on the ground. Lessons learned, man they sure run deep, they don't go away and they don't come cheap!

If you have Fallout first you can do it solo in a private world, no need for a friend. Have the mule drop the items, quit game, change character and then load back into the priivate world. It will be the same world for at least 6 minutes so don't waste time. Go to the spot where the mule dripped the items and pick them up. Done!

Perk card packs from scoreboard/seasons are great for passing off on mules you won't level up. Might score some weight reduction cards you're missing, if any are available at your level

You can just drop the stuff and pick it up. No need to find a container. I do it solo no need for friend. Private reset after 5minutes so as long as you don’t take more than 4 minutes you are good.

Since my Mule will always be a lowly mule, I have a slot waiting for the Ghoul update to get close and he will become active.

Aside from being a Ghoul/Shotgun build, I’m still working out details on what I want this character to be about.

If I bought a second copy of the game would I be able to run both at the same time on my pc? If possible would that make muling easier? Just thinking out loud. Thanks for another great video.

This is actually the only event I think that has no stash box and that's one thing that's bugged me for a bit there is no stash box at Point Pleasant. But yet there's a stash box at every other event location not granite it's probably because of the fact that it happens every 20 minutes on each server by take this into consideration there's always a stash box during meet week if I'm not mistaken
