I wonder if the silicone treated plane socks would be suitable for storing the files/floates in a humid environment? 🤔

I just wanted to share a style of rasp I found in my father's toolbox. It's sort of like a tubular cheesegrater 1/2 inch diameter(hollow and slit down the length). I made a feel and mounted it on that. It's quite brittle but excellent for cleaning 'interior voids' ;)

I think I lost/missed the part about "de-rusting" and cleaning files. One of the tools I am missing is a file card.

Ah, so "mom jokes" are the female version of "dad jokes"?
I always just assumed mom jokes were the ones where you insult somebody's mother. But I suppose that's "yo' momma" jokes..

Evaporust is MUCH easier to get and cheaper in Canada then WD-40 specialist rust remover. Interesting to know it is reversed in the States.

Maybe one of the super fine metal files will not be useful for wood, otherwise yes.

Man I get that she's trying to help and I appreciate that. But there has to be someone out there who is remotely interested in the subject matter and not actively disengaging from what's happening. Her sighs of boredom are really grating.
