Tension Headaches: anatomy and self-treatment

This week we'll cover the anatomy of your cervical spine, i.e. neck, and cranium, i.e. that thing that holds your brain and is also the hub of many, many forces, both neurological and mechanical.

When these tissues of your neck and head get compressed, a kind of dull ache, often called a tension headache, can set in. Releasing these tight tissues—both mechanically (we cover one trigger point release) and neurologically (releasing the light holding that is often operating below our somatic radars)—can release that compression, and thus relieve the pain.

Is there a term for the concept you describe where you are 'locking your vision' and incorrectly recruiting muscles in the head and neck? I think I do this, but wondering about classifying it so I can dig more on it
