I Built an Entirely Submerged Underwater Bunker

I decided for this wipe that I would hide my base at the bottom of the ocean. It's not necessarily practical, but it certainly is effective.

That ending was unexpected but shows that real life isn't scripted. The utter bros going "Yeah we're going to steal your tug boat but is there anything you need from it before we do?" just shows the different types of players in this sort of game. Real "Give me your wallet but you can take out the family photos" vibes.

Also also I NEED those penguin doors! So cool.

I keep thinking of going back to Rust but it's changed so much since I last played and there would be a really steep learning curve to get back into things that'd I'd just be stomped over and over during unless there was a sort of "beginner island" where all of the players had similar hours.

Destroying the TC for 24 hours of upkeep on an underwater base is probably the most 5head shit I've ever seen in Rust. Wouldn't be surprised if we see a lot more people using this in the near future!

they need to add pumps and the ability to place TC's underwater so we can make bases underwater. it would be so awesome to have underwater bases that arent full of water. just gotta have an airlock so you can go in and out without letting water in your base. kind of like an air lock cycle on a space station.

crazy stuff man, I've never played rust but these videos allow me to live vicarously thru you, also how poetic is it that the one group offlining everyone got offlined and had all their loot basically given away robin hood style. If there's one thing about this game that I've learned from ytb videos is that if you offline enough people enough times, they'll eventually get together and raid you, its really cool.

33:37 unless they have changed it in a recent update and I didnt see it you can place a sleeping bag in the cockpit area to prevent this kind of thing from happening. If memory serves I was able to fit 2 regular bags and 3 beach towels

There is a way to do this WITH a tool cupboard. Build a base on land. Extend a linked walk way down to and under the water. There are ways to hide this by building a second part of this as a boat base. Make an extension to deep water off the boat base.
