Rare occasion that I disagree with Krystal. I live in Southern Ohio in a county that flipped from blue since 1988 to red in 2016. Trump flags and signs EVERYWHERE and anyone not voting for Trump keeps it to themselves. Democrats have NO CHANCE in rural parts of the Midwest. They need to focus on the growing regions of the country where they are competitive (Colorado, Arizona, Virginia, Metropolitan Texas and North Carolina).

Interesting thing about these rural voters. They need health insurance. Yet they continued to vote for Republicans who tried desperately to repeal the Affordable Care Act without providing an alternative. In fact, repealing the ACA seemed to be the only item on the GOP platform, yet rural America held fast to the GOP. This causes me to think that rural America is basically stupid beyond belief.

My home town was pretty much a ghost town when TRUMP took office. 3 years later it's a boom town.
