you mean the "promising to bring the factory jobs back and then watching car factories shutdown in Ohio because the new tax bill made it financially better to continue shipping jobs to Mexico" strategy didn't work? Shocking.

In Ohio myself. Farmers. Trump devastated family farms. I personally know three "large" family farms that had to sell to corporations, or parcel the land out. One friend had an old neighbor that committed suicide after losing their 5th generation family land.

They are fleeing because they have eyes.

Gee, I don't know. Could it be because he called for a boycott of Goodyear over a fake Facebook post?

Every time a politician talks about more jobs, their talking about “in Mexico”.

Had Trump carried himself with any level of measure and dignity it would be an entire different election. Trump really took things too far.

Keep touting the Polls. I'll wait until after the election to see what actually happens.

I live in Ohio and I deal with people from different unions all the time and I haven’t heard anyone from the workforce say they are voting for Biden directly but there’s obviously a minority of them out there. The steel industry is for Trump, the Chinese tariffs are helping them a ton. I’ve talked to a lot of Teamster truck drivers and they are for Trump, same with the UAW. People aren’t voting to have their taxes raised. I’d like to see how this is being polled. It wouldn’t surprise me if union leadership and possibly teachers unions leaning towards Biden but not the majority of blue collar working members.

I still think trump carries Ohio, but just further illustrates his weakness that he’s in this bad of a position in the state

This commentry is just social engineering. Don't listen to any pundits including these two( they sometimes have some good thoughts) . If you love this country vote with your heart and mind. If America pulls too left it is going to be a disaster.

The guys in my union that voted Trump in 2016 are now embarrassed to admit it...

I live in rural OH. I am 44, white, middle class, union, essential I don't want to vote for either of them. I don't know what I am going to do. I know what I am doing down ballot.

Why are Ohio union voters fleeing Trump?
Maybe they've developed a resistance to the kool-aid.

Memories of goldfish, these people. Yes Ohio went for Trump by 8 points but it also went for Obama by 3 points in 2012 (and 5 points in 2008). Ohio has voted for the winning president, back and forth between parties, every single time since 1960 (and only went for the losing candidate twice from the 1890s to 1960). No other state comes remotely close to that record. It was always dumb to me that more people haven't been paying attention to Ohio this time around.

Biden should have said: you talk a great deal about the RULE OF LAW, but you cannot even apply it here and now We both agreed to not talk over each other and that is exactly what you are doing.

I’ve said this on comments on this show before but I’ll reiterate: Biden is doing far better here than Hillary. Hillary was uniquely hated and I rarely ever saw any support for her. I live in a conservative county and I’m seeing a considerable amount of Biden signs, almost as many as Trump signs. Granted my town is a suburb, but there are lots of those in Ohio and Trump should not underestimate how much people have turned on him in these communities. The union voters in the Mahoning Valley, Akron, Toledo, Dayton etc gave him the unusually large victory last time. Ohio is a red leaning swing state, not a red state. Remember, Ohio has 11.5M people. If turnout goes up, it’s a more competitive race.
