I'm a college educated woman. I have a masters degree in Social Work. I'm also a single mother from a working class upbringing. I have student debt. I should be a shoe-in for voting "Democrat." In fact, I voted for Obama both times. I voted 3rd party in 2016. For 2020, I'm voting for Trump. I don't consider myself a Republican, and I'm not particularly fond of any Republican politician... including Trump. But the left side of the political spectrum has become toxic, destructive, and hateful. I'll probably never be able to vote for a liberal or progressive ever again thanks to these last few years and especially the last few months. I would have told you that I was sympathetic to socialism not that long ago. But a little education goes a LONG way to cure the years of indoctrination I received. I would never vote for Bernie and Biden is just a placeholder candidate for a slightly less socialist regime to come in. I like this show because it can have an interesting point of view sometimes. But you're both dead wrong about what Ted Cruz said. If the Republican party wants to start addressing the needs of working class people, that's great. Ultimately, those of us who work hard and take pride in our own efforts are NOT going along with the leftist agenda willingly.
