My best advice is to set track 1 to beat, track 2 to main vocals, then do track 3 as raw track which you will record on. after recording your line(s) on track 3 (the raw track), then double click and move the audio to go under track 2. This also works so you dont hear yourself talk live but can hear your earlier lines that you already recorded to stay on pace. If your delay is massive, just zoom in and line up start of you speaking to the bar

also a tip is to check if there is a low latency option for specific plugins. my auto tune one was making it bad until i switched to low latency mode
