Btw here are some tips to max the purple coins in the level
Collect every single piece of course
If you have an item and an item in your inventory the other items will turn into purple coins this will make the max go from 19 to 21
If you use the ! Block badge about almost at the end of the there are two ! Blocks and between them is a nabbit block and if you activate them you get 2 purple coins ( i dunno lol ) and an item which is worth one purple coin so it gets increased by 24
Also you shouldnt waste lives doing that just finish the level ( purple coin farming )

You know what’s funny? On my second playthrough, because I wanted to beat the WHOLE game as Peach, the only time I had to swap characters was for those purple coins.

Wow im not smart heh, i did this level to farm but used coin magnet even though the star gives you coin magnet anyways
