You guys can help me out over at Patreon, and that will help me keep my gear updated, and help me keep this quality content coming:

In this class we will be using the Sunfounder Raspberry Pi Pico W Keppler Kit. It will make things a lot easier if we are working on identical hardware. the link below is to amazon, and is for the identical hardware I will be using in this entire class.

In this video, I will show you how to use an IR remote with the Raspberry Pi Pico W. I show how to control the neoPixel array using the IR remote, allowing user to select from prewritten displays on the neoPixel. Then, user instructions are displayed on the ssd1306 OLED display. The video will take you through the process step by step. Enjoy!

Thanks Paul for another great lesson! My program worked but it is a primitive version of what you shoed us Today. On the oled display, I had to use
to get it to work consistently. I don't know why. I am glad I was able to keep up!

Hi Paul, I added the OLED display option(works within callback) but not the battery as I do not want to damage anything before the class. The Neopixel Strip is also connected to pin 1... : ( You are going somewhere with this...Love it!

Has anyone mentioned your resemblance to John Lithgow the actor?

I was told that you wrote a book listing all the commands for the raspberry pi. Is this true? If so how can I get a copy. Are you still in PA?
Thanks
