You don’t have to compile the kernel yourself, there’s binary packages of the gentoo kernel

I think that is possible to compile the Debian entirely, right? I like how conservative they are and how it helps me not having bugs or conflicting softwares.

Recently I heard a little podcast in which a Gentoo veteran mentioned they never met a single Gentoo user who managed to install their Gentoo without crashing the first time. I'm gathering parts to build a gaming computer and I'd like to put Gentoo on it but I'm terrified at losing $5000+ of hardware on account of not being used to install rolling distros like Gentoo. Bobby, do you know of any website where I can train myself to that end?
