I've watched every Chessbrah speedrun. love em. Best way to learn for me. It took until this elo for this one to finally click

I’m only playing this and my ratings are climbing… took a while to get the opening move order down but I have the hang of it now. Now I’m discovering all the little treasures in the middle game. These videos are invaluable. TYFYS ❤

these instructive opening speed runs are the best thing I've ever done to improve my play. thanks Aman for another superb series. Now I have another opening to add to my repertoire :)

Last game was the best one as far as instructive value at this elo level. Looking forward to the next one!

19:35 feels instructive. For reasons I don't understand, immediately controlling the e5 square with ...Ng4 is more important than completing development. I will study this further

This opening is affectively a cheat code at the sub 1000 elo level. I'm currently on a 14 game win streak and about to break 1000.

Have been playing this system now since the speedrun started, i´m at around 1250 blitz. Definitely nice to have the first 15 moves or so figured out, but then you still need to play chess to win. Starting to get a feel for the positions that arise a bit later in the middlegame now though. Aggressive f4 e4 d4 still feels scary. And, almost none i meet hang the e4 pawn! Maybe because I mostly play 5+5. Really useful system, I thank great teacher Aman a lot.

Game 2 was goated defending from mate, unfortunately we need to be as good attacking as defending 😅

14:14 As a chess coach, the square that you wanted protected, instead of winning a pawn and whatever, "my position" not yours, I would advice you too see other ways of protecting the entry square, like the night, also protecting the night outpost (you presented as "omg, SCARY, when it's just chess, you goof") you mentioned as a foreseen OUTCOME of the OMG part of your chess brain activity. So, yeah, take a move to prepare for something, the lower right night square (of the same diagonal) is also good.

I have a radical suggestion. Take the top 3 openings for beginners ( Philidor, Taimanov, Stonewall perhaps, just guessing) and do 3 playthroughs from 1100-1800 ( or 2000) so we can see more than just 7-10 games. That 1100-2000 ELO group has to be 95% of players. I played chess for a few years before I found out what ELO meant! You've already done one playthrough, please do 2 more of each.

Instead of castles at 23:46, what about the sacrifice Bxf7+, Kxf7, Ng5+, Kg8 (forced), Ne6 followed by Nc7xa8 ?
I know it is kind of dubious, but it bothers me when someone played it to me.

I always get nervous during a speed run as Aman creeps towards my rating. I dodged him this video, I hope I'm not featured in the next two!

I can list ordinal numbers too, guys: first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh. Not that impressive.
