This Philidor thing, wow don't mind if I do - you've convinced a beginner. London, I fling out a bishop then try to find something useful for it to do except die. King's Indian, set up my little fortress, stay trapped there until the food and water run out. Exercise for other beginners who aren't convinced - analysis board, let opponent play top engine moves while you set up like thèse games in an order which makes sense, be pleased to have stayed quite a while against stockfish in fine shape.
