I've hit hundreds of balls from mats at driving ranges. But, without being able to take a divot, it's really hard to practice striking the ball just before the bottom of the swing. I also think that some bad shots are 'corrected' by the sole of the club skidding along the mat and then into the ball. Grass is way harder to play off. But this is a beautiful swing.

Try keep your head behind the yellow line. It's a tip I got a few years ago and has helped my swing

A bit flippy. Not bad though. Try hitting a club into an impact bag, making it stick to the bag. That will get you into a better position at impact with compression.
