Hogan's body movements were amazing. Crazy he nearly died, then came back to 🐐 status afterwards...

Hogan is not pulling the club back on his backswing, he is pushing the club back across his chest with the action of his left knee, left hand and left arm.

You picked a great video of hogan to see what he is doing.

This swing looks much different than his later swings. I prefer the later shorter more compact swing

Hogans clubs were 2deg open and 2 deg flat. Could fully release without going left

First move is his head moving away from target. Sets everything in motion. So much for keeping your head still…

Smaller man that played like a giant, my first swing book was “5 Modern Lessons”
But as a taller golfer, not all the lessons were good for me.
Hogan’s grip was neutral to weak, because he feared the duck hook.
