This is a great video with great information about Oslo. Thank you so much for doing this and sharing this with us. I think you gave the Times something to think about.

Great list, some of my top things you didnt mention: The village in the city - Bygdøy, go for a swim at Huk or visit the vikingship museum. Holmenkollen and Nordmarka, see the famous skijump and go for a hike or a bike ride. Bring swim gear for one of the lakes. Go for a picnic in Vigelandsparken, and if you plan in advance attend one of the city festivals like øyafestivalen, byLarm or Oslo Jazz. There are also some nice restaurants in the area between the castle and bogstadveien.

My wife wants to see the cities first so when I booked the Revier in Oslo, the pictures are right but it books under the name Att | Kvadraturen. I hope I'm staying at the right place. I liked the Sommerro also but it was a bit pricey. We also learned be careful with short euro flights; you can lose all your money if you have to cancel or change.

Don't agree with your review of the Amerikalinjen Hotel. It's pronounced like, "America Line" because it was the old headquarters of the Norwegian American Ship Lines. It's centrally located across from the train station, and the main shopping street, Opera and Munch Museum are nearby. The rooms are very stylish and have photos and maps from the old ships. It's not just blandly modern, there is a real sense of history and I like having historic buildings restored to their former glory.

Edvard Munch’s last name is pronounced like «monk», not like in «munching». He’s one of the world’s most famous artists, so I think people should know. Otherwise, very nice video!

Edvard Munch. It's not pronounced like "munch. It's like "monk." It ends in a hard K sound.

Norway is ranked as one of the countries expats like the least to stay in. Like in the bottom 5. I second that as a Norwegian and i have no idea why u are refering to it as europes hottest destination. Like WHAT?😂

Architecure is horrible. Definantly the ugliest capital in Europe. Also, its run by the biggest decadent politicians in history, totally destroying the city.

1:45 i agree with you, I hate the architecture and colors of the building. Its dull, lifeless.
In fact, I don't like most of the recent modern type buildings that are being built in Oslo. They feel like empty, sad, souls-less. No creativity, nothing expressive or attraction. Like the MUNCH Museum. :(
