Ranking EVERY Country in Europe from WORST to BEST!

We Ranked the Top 50 Best AND Worst Countries to live in Europe for 2024, and while you know many of the popular places, like France, Italy, Germany, and Spain, there are 50 Countries on the continent in total! Find out where to move to in Europe, and which have the best cities & small towns!

Europe is a VERY diverse continent, with hundreds of cultures, languages, and types of cities and scenery packed into a small area! While neighboring states in the USA aren't that different from one another, the difference between many European Countries is stark!

So if you're trying to homestead and buy cheap land, OR live in a big walkable city with plenty of amenities, OR just visit the continent by rail, Europe has you covered!... These countries have MANY crowded AND empty areas. So my biggest suggestion is to visit these cities, towns, and countries before you decide where you want to move to and live!

If it’s an American talking about Europe, it’s usually nonsense

"Bulgaria is the only Slavic state that didn't join Yugoslavia" - this sentence is so wrong I don't know where to begin...

Author of the video graduated from trustmebro university. He is respectable magister of bro science. His qualification work was about wiki education.

It feels like someone who has no clue about Europe just did minimum research and then made the list. So many absurd things about it.

Yeah, of course, in Spain we take a siesta everyday, we dance flamenco and we bullfight on the streets...

How can a European nation without housing for its own citizens be in the top 3? That's Ireland, and any housing "available" is priced obscenely high. This video is an example where the economic statistics overrule common sense.

An average American perception of other nations and knowledge about them can create a video like this one.

I live in Ireland. This completely misrepresents Ireland. We're incredibly pressured by a housing crisis, a severely inadequate health service, cost of living crisis and a government that doesn't care about any of these problems. We shouldn't even be top 15 on this list. This list must be skewed in favour of the money funelled through huge tech multinationals who set up in Dublin because of the low corporate tax rate.

These unprofessional descriptions without pointing out some of the counties’ pluses at all is ridiculous

For anybody considering migrating to any of those countries, please be aware these aren't the only factors that determine the quality of life in a place.
I'm a German that lived in Italy and has been living in Greece for many years.
There are things we can't measure easily that influence how satisfied you'll be in a new country like how compatible you are with their culture or how easy it is to make friends, difficulty level of the local language, foods available, bureaucracy, how to locals view your home country, job opportunities for foreigners, ...
If you like living close to the sea and are an extrovert, Austria and Switzerland will make you feel miserable. If you are a vegan, the less westernised a country is, the more difficult it is to find vegan options.
Also consider that places like Germany, Sweden or Ireland might offer a good job market and strong economy, but very difficult housing situation.
The weather also really is important. Not everyone can deal with cloudy, rainy weather on 250 days a year or with the winter darkness in the north.

This list is more of a parody than an actually valid ranking of worst to best.

I'm Polish. After visiting around half of those countries I still choose Poland as my favourite. 😂
Outside of Poland, I choose Italy. Especially northern part of Italy. Why? Relatively good economy, nice weather for most part of the year, I like the melody of the language, food is great. Architecture is great, you can see stunning mountains, the sea, many lakes... everything is there. Though, I have to admit that I don't like temperatures over 30 degrees so I would visit Norway, Iceland or Scotland every summer. ❤

Ireland is a great example of why statistics if not understood completely and in context can be deceiving. Many Irish are leaving their own country and they are certainly not happy with the way they have been managed as a whole. Many of them are actually struggling economically despite having such a high GDP per capita (distorted by big corporations based in that country). GDP wealth in Ireland doesn’t represent real wealth.

I am French, and you must wear a bulletproof vest if you go out at night in big cities. I would like to move to northern Italy for the quality of life, the food, the architecture and proximity to Switzerland, Austria and France.

I loved how he said Georgia is one of the most polluted on earth, but in the video, the Georgian lady was putting garbage in the recycling bin, after walking on the cleanest possible street.
