It’s been the most financially rewarding year of my entire life, but otherwise for my family - it’s been the most difficult. If you've ever wanted to become a millionaire, or if you have ever wondered how to make money online, or how to make money on YouTube, just remember your net worth isn't related much to your happiness. But if you're still wanting to do it, here's how I did it, and here's how much I made with a million subscribers.

The first source of my income is my YouTube ad revenue. In 2019 (just two years ago), I was putting out 2 videos a week. By May, I made a little over $5,000 while working 60 hours a week. That means I made $4.21 per hour - which is below a minimum wage income. However, my growth became exponential once I became comfortable with YouTube and I started to grow quickly with my first 5 figure month in September. By the end of 2019, my income was $122,952 for ad revenue alone.

In 2020, everything changed. I started making 5 figures consistently and I got comfortable with how to make videos online in a way people enjoyed. My ad revenue income for 2020 is currently at $663,304 - but I'm not even halfway through the income I made in 2020. There's a lot more!

Patreon: $176,793. The next passive income stream is Patreon which is a service creators use to generate more passive income by adding more value to their audience. They do this by making bonus videos. Since I'm a personal finance channel, I made a spreadsheet to track your stocks in the stock market so you know how much passive income you're making. The overall 2020 total for Patreon is $176,793.

Next is course sales. In May of 2019, there was more than 500 hours of video that was uploaded to YouTube every single minute. That’s 30,000 hours per hour of uploads. That makes it very difficult to compete unless you have help from someone else. I made a grand total of $0 because I don't have anything - until today!

I put together a class that shows you step by step, the entire breakdown of how to build an online social media brand on YouTube from scratch, regardless of your skill or knowledge - I take you step by step and show you how I plan all my videos, how I film them, how I edit them, all the different ways you can make money on YouTube, basically it’s all the stuff I wish I knew when I first started with regards to how this stuff works and how to make money with it.

Affiliates / Affiliate Marketing: $872,174. I have just a few affiliate links set up which I really only mention at the end of my videos but altogether, for the year of 2020 was $872,174. I'm sure if I wanted to sign up to even more apps - I would make much more than that but I really only ever talk about products I believe and stand 100% behind.

Sponsorships: $0. I don't like to be paid to speak positively about investing / personal finance apps because I integrity with money is the most important part of what I do.

The next source of YouTube related income are miscellaneous items like referrals and Amazon links. Referrals are similar to affiliates except anyone can join them, you don’t even need a social media. I generated roughly $18,555 in 2020.

GRAND TOTAL INCOME: $1,739,826 - In comparison to my first year on YouTube where I made a grand total of roughly $170,000, my second year was a grand total of $1,739,826. I couldn't be more grateful for the opportunity.

I'm part of an affiliate network and I receive compensation from partnering websites. The video is accurate as of the posting date but may not be accurate in the future.

You asked us to say "you're welcome" in the comments. But it is your hard work that allowed you to gain this following. Thank you for being both entertaining and educational in all your videos. Your success is inspiring to me and many others. Also, I am sorry for your loss, I too lost a grandparent this year and didn't know the last I spoke to them would be last time I was even allowed to because of Covid. Hope you had a great Christmas and have the same success moving forward <3

JUST WOW, congratulations! Been watching since early to mid 2019. Must have been reassuming to know you could assist your family and close friends through these insane times. I watch Graham a lot too and the amount of sponsorship interruptions is getting a little annoying, even though I love his information too.

So very sorry about both your grandmothers. They are definitely and currently in heaven looking down on their grandson and making sure that 2021 will be your best year. Looking at your YouTube channel is the best and definitely inspiring. We are kind of like family now.

I lost my job this year too. And I started this channel. And starting a YouTube channel was the best decision I made in 2020. And I’m sorry about your grandmas.

Sorry for your loss brotha. I know how you feel. Unfortunately for me, I was not able to visit my grandma up to her last day here on earth due to my job overseas and travel restrictions. I was devastated and wanted to be isolated from everybody. Then I saw this video and realized that I am not alone. That I can still be positive in life even I lost someone that I love so much. I just wanna thank you for being positive man. You’re such an inspiration. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart man. 🙏
