I think their chemistry is still beautiful. It’s just, he couldn’t handle the fact that she had grown up. He knows she has this son, and he knows she’s had relationships. Not to mention her moving up the ranks. He he had stayed, he probably would always be a step ahead of her because that’s just how their dynamic was; he looked out for her. And she has new scars now, both figuratively and literally. He wasn’t ready for her to be so different. He hadn’t changed at all. He was still with Kathy; he still was a father of five kids. He wanted it to be exactly like it was when they were partners.

That cut from Liv kissing Noah's forehead to Rafael kissing Liv's was VERY painful and I thank you for it.

He doesn’t know about Lewis. Or anything that she went through for Noah. He don’t know about tucker and how in love she was. He missed so much and I’m so glad they’re not just pushing her into forgiving him

I love Elliot, I do, but God do I miss Rafael. He always had Liv at the forefront of everything to make sure she was okay. The way he held her when Noah was kidnapped and just let her scream… the final kiss goodbye on her forehead. Ugh! I miss THAT Rafael and I miss their chemistry. He was the first one that I fell in love with as a match for Liv since Elliot left.

I love this! Great picks of the highs and lows Liv has gone through in the past ten years...and of course makes me think how she probably thought of Elliot through it all, wanting him to be there. Hopefully we'll see him learn about some of it on the show, but if not then we shall have to live through great vids like this (and fics).

Everyone is talking about he didn't write the letter, the truth is, he didn't write MOST of the letter the part of the letter that matters is the last line, "In a Parallel Universe, It will ALWAYS Be You and I." He has always loved Olivia and if it hadn't been for his commitment to his family, he would have been with her! I also believe his Catholic faith was a big part of that too. I believe Olivia held back because of his family too, I wasn't feeling I.A.D. Tucker too many times he tried to come for the S.V.U. team and rip them to shreds, I Never forgot that and the fact that Liv fell for that guy made me question her loyalty to the job and her team!

He had no right to give her a letter he didn't write. He could have written a different letter expressing his feelings if it was that important to him. He also let her take care of him and his family and never asked about her. What would have made it more interesting is if he said he knew what happened to her, he kept tabs on her, but never did anything because he knew she was being taken care of and he didn't want to jeopardize his marriage or even know stuff from his daughters.

Great edit! And that courthouse scene was one of my favorites. I still think they have miles to go, and they both need to respect the process (especially Elliot), but I'm on board.

To quote Richard Wheatley, they’re both a hot mess. Especially when it comes to love and romantic relationships. BUT the key is when they’re actually together they click…very well on a deeper level. They actually do better together than apart. They support each other in ways that no one else ever did. They get one another in all the good and bad and still stick around. The only reason they didn’t get together before was because he was already married. They need to heal together, the question is will the show runners give them the chance? Elliott is actually trying to reach out and she is the one holding back so right now it’s on Liv to take the step and a chance.
