My daughter just detransitioned and is now realizing all the LIES that she was believing, and that she was deceiving herself for ten long years. So I recognize Elliot’s facial expressions.

I have seen several transitioned males say that they had no idea how lonely a man's world can be. So not only do they carry the baggage of the trans experience, they get to walk into a landscape that is alien to them and lacking an understanding of the power dynamics among men. Yeah, I bet Elliot is unhappy.
