Michael McFaul, former U.S. ambassador to Russia, says the United States and Russia are in for a difficult set of negotiations in January and the "real question" is whether President Vladimir Putin will back away from his "maximalist" positions on the crisis.

Do you remember the Cuba crisis in 62 mr. Ambassador? I do! Everybody was scared of the outburst of thr 3rd world war becuse Cuba had put up a defensive missile system with the help of the Soviets very close to the US borders. Now we have exactly the same situation, only now it is the US and its Nato allies that are encircling Russia with military threats. They placed aggressive missiles in Poland, intend to do the same thing in Roumania and God knows where else! The US has orchestrated a pro Western coup in Ukraine in 2014 which lead to the present tragic civil war situation and they plus their NATO allies are pumping up Ukraine militarily right now. NATO has expanded eastwards 5 times since the nineties even though they promised after the demolishing of the Berlin wall (the Reagan adm to Gorbachev) that NATO wouldn't expand one inch east of Berlin.

What country is guilty
of the most foreign interventions of any country, by far?

Hasn’t that same country been exposed
for funding protests in Hong Kong,
Thailand, Myanmar, Malaysia
in Africa and in other countries
for no other purpose than to block China’s investments & global rise?

Hasn’t the same country interfered
in Russia, Latin America, Europe, Africa and Asia
not in the name of "freedom and democracy?"

CIA director James Woolsey openly admitted
‘We’ve meddled in other countries elections
for the good of the system in order to avoid the
communists from taking over.
For example, in Europe in 47 48 49,
the Greeks and the Italians.’
He could not deny
that the US is still meddling in foreign elections.

'US goal is an endless war,
not a successful war'
Who got rich of arming the Taliban/ Afghanistan?

US Boeing, Raytheon, Northrop-Grumman
Lockheed-Martin and General dynamics
quietly raked in billions of dollars from the slow-motion fiasco
while the US taxpayers footed the bill.

The US not only paid US soldiers to go over there
but they also paid the Afghan soldiers MORE than US soldiers
to fight there?

Total cost was 2.26 trillion dollars
300 million dollars per day
spent on this war for 20 years.

800 billion direct war fighting
269 billion US veterans
85 billion train the Afghan army
5 billion a year per in aid for Afghanistan
750 million for the Afghan soldier payroll

So the US finds that it was cheaper
to pay the Afghan army
then actually send US soldiers there.

Brandon should keep his nose out of it. The only reason he is concerned about Ukraine is that his crime family has businesses over there.

Russia's GDP(PPP) is the 6th largest in the world, not far behind that of Germany. Any meaningful sanctions would mean certain death of EU economy, so it simply won’t happen. China and Russia are far more important for EU economy than US. Unilateral US sanctions will be completely ineffective. There are no trade relations to speak of between US and Russia. Russia is the only country in the world that can obliterate the US. NATO military infrastructure near its borders is as acceptable to Russia as Russian nuclear missiles in Cuba to the US. It's not about Ukraine at all (with its ruined economy it's not an asset, but a liability). Russians aren't going to trifle with their national security. The time when they tried to reason with the US is over. These are basic facts. People who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones.

The armament industry has commanded in Washington and to flourish it needs confrontations, wars are instigated daily, crises started, regime change carried out, economic hitmen are on the post by numbers, 800 military bases are not enough, and killed children by drone are now characterized in Pentagon as collateral damage, nor 200 bio laboratories and 8000 sanctions are hurting all that Washington eagle touches. For example, EU member states fall into sanctions warfare with Russia, the ongoing cost over 240 billion to EU and around 10 billion to the US. The jurisdiction by Washington extends into any sovereign state, including Ethiopia that has a GDP minuscule compared to the US, still Washington sanctions, what is going on in Abis Abeba, which is not to Washington liking. And we all know Mr. Micheael McFaul, he is fortunately not a match to Mr. Mike Pompeo who claimed expertise in lying and coercion among other intellectual qualities needed for a high post eagle with deadly arrows requires.
