Tony, the man! The most authentic, real, genuine timepiece channel on the tubes. 🙌

A lot of YouTubers took it for granted it would always be a thing.
They changed their channel name to their own names as if they were going to be some Top Gear style superstars.

Eventually Rolex will be making enough watches to have a wide selection to choose from when you walk into their stores just like before. It will take a couple of more years before production is able to ramp up enough.

Yeah man, this is the first year in a long long long time I can remember that I have not bought a single watch. Hoping things change in the future.

Great breakdown Tony! I think everything you said is very on point and accurate with what the situation is! I too like TheDubaiExpat channel.

There are plenty of good Rolex that can be had for reasonable prices. The GMTs and Subs, quasi vintage are great watches. The ceramic GMT TT oyster is amazing. As is the seadweller 43. All can be had under 15k.

Having looked at many online places, it looks like Rolex is selling at 25% over retail for most models except of course the crazy hard to get models (like the Pepsi which is insanely going for 25K and higher). Do you think the 25% above retail will decrease to more reasonable numbers anytime soon?

Hi Tony, I've discovered your channel recently and dig your content. Question: I understand you are a musician, but can you tell us a little bit more about your music career for those of us who aren't familiar with your background?

Hi, under given circumstances in the world I do not see any signal which will change the price path of the watches on the second market… will go slowly down and down to find a stable price level… which most of the models of brand will be under retail… of course not the models like daytona, royal oak, nautilus and so on… but black sub, dayjust and som on… any reason to be over retail…. lets see :)

Hello Tony, what do you think of the Daytona 126515LN?

Omega used to give 5% discount, but not any more. This is at an Omega boutique, not a multi brand retailer. Breitling did not give anything at all.

Hi Tony! I was at the Patek/Rolex AD this week. Still everything in exhibition only status. I tried on the new Cubitus they had both Platinum Grand Date and Green dial 5821/1A. I wasn’t crazy about the new releases at first, but must admit 45mm size actually looked great on my wrist and have really warmed up to the design. The 5821/1A -001 dial was very nice and would be my choice if allowed to purchase. I asked the manager about purchasing a 5205R-011 that’s probably one of my favorite configuration in Complications model.🤔Manager said he will consider me on that model.🤞

I can tell you I’m still waiting for a blue dial sky dweller and a Pepsi for 1.5 years with a sizable purchase history. So the “hype” pieces are still on the more difficult side to get. I’ve been allocated a submariner no date, sea dweller 43, root beer, and a couple of other pieces over the last two years with much smaller wait times. But the damn sky dweller and Pepsi are elusive! It’s fine I check in once a month with my AD, I visit them often, and I keep the relationship alive. I also wanted the to display my watches on a limited basis and I’m waiting for the CEO to give me an answer. It’s interesting when you go from client to potential vendor the relationship changes a little bit.

I’ve always loved watches from a young kid. The first watch that I remember was a Casio calculator watch. That’s what got me into watches. Well I always bought cheaper watches that I liked like guess and fossil, watches I could get at department stores. Then I started getting interested in some higher end stuff like citizen and tag hauer. While on vacation in St. John, i walked into a jewelry store that had Rolex, Breitling etc. all watches i couldn’t afford at the time. Well they had case full of Rolex and they were available for sale. I don’t remember which ones because I didn’t know anything about the brand but I wanted to look at them. Well I got talking to the salesman, turns out he was from my home state, we chatted for a while
Looked at a bunch of watches, none of which I could afford but was just having fun. He starts telling me he if was to buy a watch he would buy a breitling, he started talking about the brand and said Rolex watches are mass produced and breitling is a family owned company and make way less watches better quality etc. fast forward 10 years and I have one of each and love them both but the reason for my rant is how things change back then I could of bought whatever they had if I had the means, now
I have to kiss a salesman’s ass to get a watch. I really hope things go back the way it was.
