When I worked in a Trauma Center, in Fort Worth, I noticed one of the Doctors wearing a Tissot, when we’d scrub out to leave.

He showed me the details of it, Polishing vs brushed areas, how the bracelet felt, the mechanism through the exposition glass back. Later, he brought his collection in, and showed me. Vintage Omega, Rolex, Cartier, Casio, Tissot, Blancpain, and so many others.

I picked up one from the collection, (asking permission of course), that was a Jaeger LeCoultre Reverso White/Black small seconds. When he showed me how it flipped, I felt the virus. It completely took me over.

Watch Collectors are truly some of the best gentleman I’ve ever met. Seeing the passion and excitement in their eyes as you see something they see in a timepiece, and sharing that awe.

That said, the best moment in my “Time Piece” life wasn’t getting my dream watch, it was getting my wife her’s. And seeing her eyes light up, and then pour. And then her patience as I ADHD Info dumped why the watch was “so special!!!”

Mostly because she made it special, not the other way around❤😂
