Global All Stars Just Got Real: Makeovers, Untucked Fight and Unaired Drama | Hot or Rot?

In today's Hot or Rot? we break down episode 9 of Rupaul's Drag Race Global All Stars. Our remaining 6 international icons were challenged to give drag family resemblance makeovers to the eliminated queens of GAS. We go queen by queen to break these down and then dissect the untucked fight involving Kween Kong, Pythia, and Nehellenia. Nehelenia naming her makeover partner Zirconia shows that she is a true Sailor Moon fan! In the anime Zirconia was created as a personification of Nehelenia's fears, basically her inner saboteur.

Watching kitty and kween have a hissy fit because they weren't the winners and truly showed it wasn't just the edit that they truly dont think much of Nelly. Honestly enjoyed Nell finally getting the win and the other girls being salty more than I should have 😂

Glad you recognized Tessa in this, I know it wasn't matchy-matchy, but it was a cohesive story and her makeover for Athena was stunning. She deserves more flowers!!

I also noticed that Tessa was so surprised when Ru called her safe. She probably expected to be in the bottom instead of Kitty because of all the favoritism but I'm so glad it didn't happen.

The cutaway shots of the judges laughing so hard their heads almost exploded over the most basic lip sync was EGREGIOUS. I almost went blind from excessive eye rolling 😭

I actually think Pythia Looked like a beautiful squared jawed women, Angelina Jolie type. So pretty. Its small minded and old fashioned for Kong to think of female impersination beauty as just round faces especially when she is a no neck line backer in a dress..and we accept it as female beauty as we should

As a Sailor Moon Stan, Nehellenia’s name for Pythia, Zirconia, is extra special because in the story Nehellenia and Zirconia are two sides of the same mirror/coin/moon.
