In Mexico we call it "la chancla" ( could be a flip flop, a slipper or any kind of shoe!
The verb here is..."dar de Chanclasos, or agarrar a chanclazos. 😂 Meaning "hit you or throw the chancla at you to disciple you!😢
And father's usually use a belt. Called el cinto! Moms can use it too!😮
