We challenged rock climbers to try to keep up with a pole dancer. These athletes see if their endurance and strength are enough to keep up.

I love how all the men took it seriously and really tried to learn it. Everyone there is an athlete. Super-jealous.

The first stage of mastering ANYTHING in life is the "looking like a complete idiot" stage. We gravitate to the tiny handful of things we started learning to do as kids, because we navigated that stage before we were self-conscious and weighed down by our egos.

So great to see these men with the confidence to try and fail and try again to do something new. That willingness to fail, that willingness to endure the "look like an idiot" phase and keep on going, is what will make them successful at literally anything they try to accomplish.

I appreciate that the guys were respectful of this woman's skill set and that they genuinely tried to learn what she was teaching them. They also shared some good observations about the fear of trying something new. This is a good series.

Love how seriously the men took it, started pole dancing recently after years of climbing and was amazed at how transferable the skills of strength and endurance were! lovely to see this video, the fan kick was so relatable

Maybe I’m reading too much into this, but I feel like the guy in the blue T-shirt has done ballet or some form of dance before in his life. He just has that form when he moves and even the placement of his feet at 5:05 gives me a hint of ballet🤷🏻‍♀️
