I recommend everyone trys bouldering and indoor rock climbing atleast once a month, it's a full body workout, and it will show you your weaknesses, it's also a mind workout bc you will be solvinga puzzle while under tension, the few times I went I found the community to be super friendly and helpful. And some bouldering gyms have gym stuff like free weights and cardio machines.

My friend is a rock climber, and this one time we were hanging out, I tripped on a curb and he quickly grabbed my arm to help me, ended up bruising it for two weeks XD

I used to go to the gym but then stopped going as I took up rock climbing, I didn’t touch a barbell for over a year. Went to see how much strength I’d lost but turns out my deadlift increased by 20kg/45lbs just from rock climbing.

Lol so true… I started rock climbing during covid and once I started climbing around v5/v6 consistently my grip strength was crazy. You will be the best arm wrestler in your friend group 😂 I have been more focused on the gym lately but this video makes me want to get back to some bouldering

if you think about it our muscles (well at least the ones in our upperbody) were designed for climbing so it makes sense that muscle growth would happen from just this activity

Exactly my mistake as a teenager lol I did bodyweight for years. Got super strong, with really dense hard muscles, but I was still a slender ass teenager with no size or weight
