My gym in Indiana has a climb exactly like this! However it's over a giant foam pit. The crash pads look quite a bit more intimidating 😬

I loved the full video, psyching yourself up to take the fall at least once and show you were okay was very encouraging for new climbers I think 😁

We have one at our gym called the snake that goes almost up at least 45 ft and it's over a foam pit

The adrenaline rush at the top forces you to finish

There is one in my gym as well but the mattress follows the wall so that you never fall more than 2 meters. Better design IMO.

Arkose genevois for those wondering what it looks. Apparently one of the biggest in Europe.

This is my favourite wall, its at The Boardroom in Deeside, Wales, and I must've climbed it over 100 times. The fall really isn't that bad, if you were to fall its usually from about halfway up the climb or 10 feet above the mat so not so bad. Falling from the top is scary, but not painful- i have jumped from the top a couple of times just for fun!

I remember at Mile End climbing wall had a 7 meter bouldering wall, but that was all super slabs and really technical stuff. It was hard mentally when you just have to go for it at the top. So 8 meters is really amazing.

There is a difference that 8 meter wall is just a small part of the entire climbing centre, where as Mile End was a bouldering centre, so most of the climbing centre was 7 meter high bouldering.

I'm writing in pass tense because it's been about 20 years since I've climbed at Mile End. I hope it's still there because it was an amazing place to climb and hang out.

I saw your YT upload and planned to go here on the way back from a camping trip in Wales. Had my sesh on the psicobloc today, it was even the same route as shown in the video. I fell at exactly the same spot Hannah fell 😂 just ran out of energy because I never climb anything larger then 3m

I feel you I’m a teenager who just started bouldering for about 7 weeks so far and falling is so scary 😅

This is kinda like a gateway to free soloing

There had better be a slide on the other side of that. If there's stairs, ya'll need to go back to childhood and remember why we irrationally just climb things.

This is the at boardroom, Deeside, Wales.

Wide Boyz have visited before and is the original, sister location of the new boardroom gym that recently opened in Wimbledon, featured in Louis Parkinsons recent video.
