I am Japanese, and English is my second language. Done my Praxis core, and failed reading and writing, but passed math. I did my best, and I am not sure it was because I wanted a full mark, but I just needed 4 more points on reading. Writing, I needed a lot more. I hope this video can save me and my soul LOL

I CAME HERE BECAUSE I FAILED THE FIRST ATTEMPT NOT BECAUSE I'M STUPID, BUT BECAUSE I COULD ONLY ANSWER 40 QUESTIONS WITHIN THAT SHORT TIME FRAME! I FELT LIKE IT WAS INTENTIONAL TO GIVE LONG COMPLICATED TEXTS AND EXPECT US TO READ THEM + UNDERSTAND THEM+ ANALYZE THEM AND THEN FIND THE RIGHT ANSWER IN A MINUTE OR TWO. EVENTHOUGH I ANSWERED ONLY 40 QUESTIONS OUT OF 56 QUESTIONS I MISSED THE PASSING MARK BY A COUPLE OF POINTS. I WILL WATCH THIS VIDEO ! THANK YOU!

The strategy mentioned makes a lot of sense. I feel a tremendous sense of relief. With passages that are followed by a series of questions, it is tempting to stay with that group until all the questions are answered. What your saying is to leave any question that I spend over thirty seconds on....as usual great info. I passed math, art and now for reading then writing

I'm sorry if nobody agree with me, but these test are a scam, I've spent a couple thousands of dollars on the practice portions of just the reading alone and I get less and less of a score... after 10 years of trying to become a teacher I'm giving up. failed reading 8 times.
