I’ve taken the praxis 4 times before I discovered your videos. I just got my results back yesterday and I passed! Thank you so much! You’re a spectacular teacher!

Hi! I just wanted to thank you for your videos and your book. I took the writing praxis 3 times and missed passing by 2-3 points each time. After watching your videos and reading your book I can proudly say that I passed my writing praxis with 20 points above passing and just in time to start teaching this September! Thank you!

Thank you so much for this I failed my test by 7 points and I knew it was because I struggled with sentence structure. This helped so much keep up the great content.

You have to be kidding me! Everything my English teacher said just clicked. I used to look right through her, and I would understand maybe 15% of what she was teaching. Look at my sentence. It has two independent clauses. 'I used to look right through her.' 'I would understand maybe 15% of what she was teaching.' A comma after 'her, ' (a punctuation to weak by itself to separate two independent clauses) 'AND' (the coordinated conjunction known as F.A.N.B.O.Y.S.=For, And, Nor, But, Or, Yet, So, connected with the punctuation to properly separate the two independent clauses) together create the proper and strong punctuation to separate two independent clauses. Or, I can dump the comma and the conjunction 'AND' by replacing it with a semicolon creating a stand alone strong punctuation, separating my two independent clauses. It would read like this instead, "I used to look right through her; I would understand maybe 15% of what she was teaching." Who else is deconstructing their own written sentence after this study here in the comments. lol!

Also if this helps anyone, 'Failure is Feedback'. I remind myself of this phrase if I don't pass the first time.

Much Love Be Blessed!
