The chain motif is everywhere. There are several types of celtic knots, the braids on Marika and Radagon, the chainnaround Radagon's waist, and Radagon's rune the trellis, signifies fate in Norse mythology. The intertwining nature of these fates and the fact that Radagon is a taylor who sews things together (aka all things can be conjoined) is also significant. This game just keeps on giving in terms of lore. Sometimes it feels like there's too much going on but you do a great job of bringing it all together. Superlative work.

thank you for this video, it's the best explanaition for the 3 'standard' endings as well! your view on this was like another puzzlepiece i couldn't find to get further into the udnerstanding-
maybe one thing which came into my mind through this, probably simply because of the close proximity of these themes rn for me but it helped me also to understand something about One Piece at this time with the explenaition for devilf ruits representing the different evolutions through different realities people have dreams of- while being then shunned by mother sea for that isn't far off from marika shunning omen/misbegotten/all the evolutionary crucible stuff.
while at the same time the greater will does prefer living things prsenting it with colorful features (or so, its some golden rune description saying roughly that) while colorful seems to be a mark of crucible and omen (morgotts sword being amde of his 'cursed' blood) representing the molten down "colors" of the world. the merchants also free and somewhat colorful men being shunned even under the omen maybe because they are prefered by the greater will for their nomadic, free lifestyle- which would contradict murikas order and power. 'Omen' being omen of what? Omen of change, of a meltdown, crucible as the greater will yearns for change- causality instead of eternal stagnation. which would udnermine marika 'the eternal' as well: thats why morgott and mohg have fully yellow/golden eyes full of grace; as well as the merchants maybe even so far this overflow of golden grace build up to boil and result in frenzy flames, just as mohgs blood boiled with flames- flames of ambition; given wings by the greater wills yearn for
