I solder my dropper wires to the bottom of the rail joiners myself. (cheaper than buying those ones that have the wires attached) having the droppers on the underside of the rail joiner means they are completely hidden and every join in my flexi track gets dropper wires attached to the bus feed. I do solder the rail joiners on the outside of the rail only and my system means I never have any connection issues. especially around turnouts/point work.

that makes feeder wires pretty simple. they are not soldered yet crimped onto the wire.
if you turn the rail joiners the other way, so the wire goes inward to the center of the track. might be a bit better for drilling one hole to drop the feeders.

I'm a beginner and I'm considering switching from Bachman EZ-track to the code 100. This video and your tutorial are a big help but what kind of transformer or power supply is used?
