For those struggling to find the terminal:
1) To the right of the armour is a bar display, go through the door in the display.
2) Go all the way up the stairs (be careful of the two assaultrons at the top)
3) You should now be in a hallway with a turn to your left and a path straight ahead, go straight ahead
4) In front of you should now be a set of stairs leading into a neon blue river on your left, a red door to your right and a blue door ahead, go through said blue door
5) The terminal you’re looking for is on the left of the room you should now be in

If you think about it T51 power armor looks like a power armor both military and commercial. And it is possible the military gave these out for nuka cola because the military was connected to Nuka cola. This also explains why there is X01 power armor in space command.

The T-51 was most likely the most mass produced suit of power armour in Pre-War America, in terms of lore, due to its participation as the top of the line power armour in the Anchorage Liberation from the Chinese.

Before that, the T-45 was the main, and first power armour, however it was prone to leaving the wearer uncomfortable as it had no efficient ventilation system, the wires were exposed and the back was vulnerable, and it limited maneuverability massively. The T-51 bridged the gap between the primitive T-45 to the superior (pre-war) T-60 armour. This armour had a limited service due to its creation very shortly before the nuclear armageddon that followed, therefore it's likelihood to fall into the hands of companies like the Nuka-Cola Corporation were slim.

Companies that owned franchises like Nuka Cola and Vim! ultimately painted T-51 in a promotion gamble, and were (at least in Nuka Cola Corporation's case) intertwined with the military on projects such as the Quantum Project.

the X-01 is surprisingly painted Quantum in the Nuka World DLC, suggesting that X-01 R&D may have taken place prior to armageddon, and was deployed shortly after.

Thanks for the guide. I'm really digging this armor

The reason T51's are used is because corporations, with the proper permits, could buy and use them.  T-60's were new and the military didn't let civilians have them, ad X-01's weren't invented yet, although Bethesda seems to have forgotten

Wait if this is for lore reasons then why is there the blue X01 armor in the galactic zone???

My main save file is a character who collects and modifies suites of power armor during down time. Good to know that one of the last suits I have to find won't take to much to get upgraded.

If they made a T-51 set with a sunset sarsaparilla paint job I would use it since the T-51 is my suit power armor model and I prefer sunset sarsaparilla over nuka cola. Too bad sunset sarsaparilla is only in NV

Actually the T-60 was like the latest the army had just when the bombs fell, and you can see it when you go to the vault at the beginning of the game. But still makes sense that most of this companies would have a promotional T-51 lore wise, because apparently the T-60 was literally just before the bombs fell. X-01 is supposedly post war since it's a variation of the enclave power armor from Fallout 2. But apparently Beth broke the lore since apparently you can also find a X-01 armor with some pre-war paint job later in the DLC.

Next time you make a tutorial.ypu should show people where your going. This area is very confusing and you skip all over the place and I had no idea where you were. I am going to another tutorial video now so I can actually do this.

Additional power armor can be found to the west of the adventure land area in a metal building, caution there is a blood bug nest near the front door.

Shame you can't apply that paint job to other pieces of power armour!

The existance of this power armor is kind of fucked up when one ponders it. Imagine that Dinseyland owns at M1 Abrams tank, painted with the Disney colors and logo, and that its a fully functional tank.
