Something that has helped me find my fire is grasping the knowledge of what fuel is being used in my life. Proper fuel helped me get a more efficient fire in my training and life. I had to get rid of bad habits which helped me get back into wanting to train hard and consistent. Stay strong coach.

I just watched this video after a John Meadows video on 12 mistakes advanced lifters make. Seems relevant to this topic. Personally, I’m incorporating more prehab/rehab exercises into my routine and I’m enjoying it, stuff I’ve learned from KOTG and Squat University. For example, I do heavy leg press one workout a week. The other two workouts for quads I do slant board ATG front squats (huge ROM) and Poliquin step downs (VMO focus). And for posterior chain, I’m doing hip thrusts on a lying hamstring curl machine and hip hinging on a 45-degree back ext. apparatus. No deadlifting! More ROM, more challenging movements means less weight and less wear and tear. As John said, less “mileage.” It’s really added new challenge and interest to my workouts.

Loving all the content with Dave, lots of helpful tips here for new and seasoned lifters alike. Hopefully one day I’ll see you at a PA event!

Szat, have you ever touched on diet? Training hard is easy. Recovering from that suicide mission of a workout is the hard part.
Love the content.

Maybe it's just me, but I think at 4:21 should be made a poster. 🤔

It’s funny, I’ve been get pretty consistently stringer on my squats. About 10 pounds a month. I’m up around 310-315 now for sets of 5 and going deep in the hole. However I’ve started getting some pretty good shoulder pain, that also is going down into my biceps. Anyone else get this? Any suggestions? I’ve been progressively nicely but want to avoid injury as much as possible .
