Are there any animals that can't swim? I researched the topic, and this is what I found! I hope you enjoy the images and humor throughout.

I wrote a PhD thesis on this topic. A little correction: although hippos can’t swim in rivers, they certainly can swim in sea water.
The idea that a gorilla can’t swim because body density is wrong. The same argument was used to explain why chimps can’t swim, until I proved that chimps and orangutans can swim, despite their body density. Also humans with negative buoyancy can learn to swim. Gorillas were not observed yet swimming, but there is well possible that they would learn to swim in a save environment (like the captive chimps and one orangutan learned to swim). By the way, there is one report of two gorillas in a African zoo enjoying very much playing in water, and although they were not observed swimming, their seemed very confident in water, displaying a behavior which can be described as “almost swimming “.
There are other animals that probably can’t swim, as described in my dissertation.

I guessed apes and tortoises. I seen a video of a moron throwing a tortoise into the sea because she thought it was a turtle. Also weird how rhino's can swim. I thought they were all muscle and had heavy shoulders

I fill a tub with water in the middle of a field. About 24 bugs will be dead in there. No, not all animals can swim by this definition.

The only Apes to swim super comfortably are humans, like the video says. Some few apes manage to swim but they genuinely can’t since their bones are more dense and they have high muscle mass

Very instructive video and it is always good to learn something new. So I have seen the best swimmer in the world, a wonderfully, funny, smart creature - Captain Aty - a small Asian clawed otter. In his adventures he swam in "half" of the Japanese rivers..😄😍 An amazing, noble creature.
Thanks for this and thanks YouTube. ❤

I guessed tortoises and dinosaurs. I guess dinosaurs aren't considered animals now?

Babies aren't breathing in the womb, the mother is breathing for them and relaying oxygenated blood to them.

I know tortoise can't swim. Im pretty sure gorillas can't because of there muscle density and center of gravity also many African animals mainly of the larger species can't swim
