‘Timing was pitiful’: Royal experts react to Prince Harry and Meghan photo after Royals picture. No sooner had Buckingham Palace released a portrait of King Charles, Prince William, Kate Middleton and Queen Consort Camilla - what’s been dubbed as the ‘new Fab Four’ - than a rival portrait from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle emerged from California. Harry and Meghan released an image of the two of them from an event they attended in the UK just before the Queen's death. The timing, says the Daily Mail’s Royal Editor Rebecca English was ‘puzzling’. The Daily Mail’s consultant editor Andrew Pierce believes it was down to a bad case of ‘me, me, me!’ with the couple not wanting the public to forget them: ‘I actually thought the timing was pitiful.’

I’m an American. I agree with the person who wrote in that the Harkles children do not need titles and they could end up being a liability for the children. We do not have royalty here, despite how much M wants to promote herself as such, it’s meaningless. In my opinion, even H is not Royal since he lives here.

Princess Anne works tirelessly in representing the Royal family to bring attention to all the organizations and events they support. Allowing her to wear a uniform for the military branch of which she is an honorary member is the least she deserves.

Was so pleased Princess Anne formally reached out to personally thank the military for their participation and efforts for the funeral. The Navy signed up but didn't realize they would be such an important part of the procession.

I am not a British citizen but watching the royal children and grandchildren and the thousands of Brits of all backgrounds and religions who came to pay their respects to the Queen as she lay in state, I couldn't help but be moved and impressed. I'm not a Camilla fan, but the way she has stepped up is commendable. The difference between Meghan and Camilla is, one quit the job a million little girls would die for, and other stepped up to do a job she never in a million years wanted. Both married a Prince; one dumped all over that, the other stepped up despite never wanting to be Royal. The difference is...love. We do things for those that we love, not crush them down for our own agenda.

Princess Anne was the first female to participate in the vigil of the prince's ritual she took part in. It was also a historical moment for her to wear her (well decorated!) uniform. I truly admire her dedication and drive as one of 4 royal children, although Charles sits on the throne, I believe P Anne is the hardest working royal! She keeps her engagement calendar full!
