I had lost both of my parents when I was 11-12 years old. It was an extremely lonely and lost feeling. Felt afloat and lost and adrift, sad and numb. Never recovered to this day. But have had a long life so far and you always just have to meet your challenges as they come finding joy as you can.

IMO - The Oprah Winfrey supposed "interview" with Harry and Meghan was very unprofessional. I lost respect for all three of them that day.

Megan did a thing during a televised interview .. where in an exceptionally over egregious way, she imitated the “bow” she was advised to perform in front of the Queen …. It was SO low brow, and yes, “common” of her to OVER “dramatize” the curtsy complete with eye rolls, and a stifled giggle. I’m American but my Dad and his family were English. Even “I” know how rude and low brow a thing that is to do … and I’m not related. She married into the family with her eyes open. It’s not a “role” she can act her way in or out of it. And the expression on Harry’s face was a combo of horror, embarrassment, and final resignation that was his choice. I hope he chastised her behind closed doors out of respect for his grandmama. Because they grew up curtsying to her as soon as they could stand. It was an ill mannered act, IMO.

Paul NEVER changed their nappies and they NEVER called him uncle!
As for Penny Junor who hated Diana when she was alive, ignore what she says, it's tainted!

That statue of Diana was simply hideous. It didn't even look like her. She should have been dressed in one of her evening gowns. Diana was so glamorous, there were so many options. She would have looked stunning with a shapely gown, some nice jeweled earrings, a matching necklace, and a gleaming tiara. She was a royal princess, she needed to have been arrayed as such. It was a major squandering of an opportunity to make a gorgeous statue that would rival those in Greece or Rome. The public is far more familiar with and they relate to her more recent glamorous, fashion model look. To make a statue of her as a dowdy teacher walking with her class is to remember a part of Diana's life that was only shown in old films. She wasn't even a princess yet.

I believe Diana would look more natural if she were holding the hands of her sons.William could be slightly up front in the pose of tugging Diana's hand while laughing and looking up into Diana's amused smile and Harry could be holding her other hand and skipping while smiling up into his mother's face. They are walking into a soft breeze that is tussling the boys hair and gracefully playing with Diana's flowing gown. The statue would show them walking fast like Diana always did. A replica of her wedding band would adorn her hand. Anyway, Diana is viewed as a stunningly beautiful princess all across the world, her statue should have captured that aspect of her life. If the statue could reflect her graceful and elegant beauty, it would become a tourist attraction. Personally, I wouldn't take a special drive to see Diana's statue as it is now. However, if it were able to reflect Diana's charisma and beauty, along with her relationship to her sons, that's a statue I would visit.

It astounds me how so many people can't see the huge amount of nuance in this situation. There are so many factors that go into this situation and everyone's feelings are valid. But so many people (including here in the comments) just want to reduce it to "Meghan bad". But there are a lot of people, royal and otherwise, who had a part to play in the souring of the relationship, and there are a lot of people who still have to make amends and haven't. Stop making this one dimensional, it isn't and you can't pin everything on one person.

My opinion, Harry has had some jealousy, William is next in line to the throne he will be the centre of life. It looks like Harry wants that attention still by trying to draw attention to himself in America. It will be awful for William and his family to bring Harry and Meghan back into the fold. It’s not over with those two. So sad for Harry concerning his children, all this going on!

The only royal at war is Harry. The rest have gotten on with their lives.

Diana knew that the Monarchy was both her son's future - William has dutifully followed that part of his destiny - whereas Harry has thrown it away - much like Edward VIII threw away his responsibilities. Diana would be appalled at Harry's decision & the way he has attacked both his Grandmother & her legacy as well as his father & Brother.

How could there not be enough charity or public service ???? William and Catherine brought harry to many events pre megs. They didn't have to do that. They included him with all their projects. Meghan joined and it all fell apart. The four couldn't work together. Im from the states. I can't imagine joining the brf without knowing how it all works but trying to take over and have it done all my way. Who would sign up for a lifetime job without knowing what that job is. She didn't look into it. No interest. They gave her aides to show her but she wasn't interested. Joined a monarchy but didn't care at all what the protocol is. She had no respect for it but sure loved the money and fame. That was her dream. Celebrity, money and living the California life. It's like you couldn't have gotten a more stereotypical american loud, take over everything, my way, Overconfident, I want a giant castle, I want a private chef, my own plane, Its like a cartoon character or some kind of satirical movie. I hate how she blames all her issues because she's an American. saying all Americans hug, wave ridiculously jumping around, not knowing what a curtsy is, everything is smaller in the uk. Ugh no. Blaming it on being American is ridiculous. A normal American isn't anything like her.

These two make me so sad. My husband and his brother were close in age and always close in their relationship.
I hope one day they will come together. Life is to short, as they knew with their mother’s untimely passing. 😢

Prince Harrys damage toward his brother and the Monarchy will ripple for years to come.

I hope Harry can begin to make amends sooner than later.
