I've just taken delivery of the Nespresso Barista milk machine. I could not wait to get started and tried to make a cappuccino. I was terribly disappointed to find it only heated my milk and not any froth in sight! I used semi-skimmed milk as the recipe suggested. I thought it must be a problem with milk so I bought another bottle of semi skimmed from a large supermarket with a long shelf life however I had the same problem. I find this is an extremely expensive way of heating milk when I could have just used my microwave. I want froth and feel I have been very sadly let down on this product.

It will help if it worked!
We have tried several different brands of semi-skimmed milk to no avail!
The machine is great to look at and very nicely built but, it only produces froth with cold recipes.
This is unacceptable. I should not have to search for the “right” milk, not at this price point.
Moreover, our aeroccino 3 and 4 work just find so, this could be a recipe program issue or worst, a design problem with the Barista line.
Either way, short it out!

I'm wondering, Nespresso Korea informed to every consumer : NO Foam with cappuccino recipe. Is this right? I think there's so rich foam in every video.
