Hi Friends!! Come along as I knit a Raglan sweater!! I love the way it turned out so much and I really hope that this can help you make something similar! I tried to leave the tutorial very open so you guys can be creative with how you make this piece and adjust to your size/liking! You can always adjust the length to make a knitted shrug or dress or adjust the sleeves to make it short or long sleeve! As always DM me if you have any questions or need any help!

To calculate how i divide the sts for the raglan i like to divide the total number of stitches by three (48/3=16) and then divide the result by two to figure out how many sts i have for the sleeves (16/2=8). It’s the same but its seems easier to calculate so I’m leaving it here in case anyone thinks the same!

6:22. Using two stitch markers to signify a knit row or an increase row is a fricken game changer. What a brilliant and simple idea. Thank you.

I'm here knitting a light blue top with my brand new needle and I found this video. It feels like we're together talking about our projects. Feels like company.

ik you said this would knit up quick, but I didn't think it would be THAT FAST OMG- it took me almost 2 days to make a cropped shirt (I ran out of yarn right when I had to finish the second sleeve 😑) IT WAS SO CUTE AND SIMPLE! but I love the guide sm I was always intimidated by raglan & the video made it so much easier! I'm super excited to make even more tops, sweaters, and shrugs with this guide I can't thank you enough and I can't wait for more content from you!<333

this video is so clear, ive always avoided learning raglan because it's usually only explained in the context of specific patterns and i prefer to design my own garments to fit the yarn/needles i happen to have to work with. i am so grateful i now can use this technique, thank you!!

Thank you so much for this tutorial!!! It really helps me knitting a raglan sweater. The tip with the two colours yarn stitch marker and how to divide the stitches for the increase parts are really helpful ❤

This video was super helpful. I love figuring out projects without a full on pattern and this gave me just enough guidance to figure out raglan for the first time. Thank you💜

Hi Kait! I know this tutorial has been posted for a while now, but I wanted to thank you for creating and posting this video as it is the easiest sweater pattern I have found that has immensely helped me in knitting my first sweater! It is so helpful and easy to follow which was amazing. Having finished my first sweater with this pattern, I can't wait to continue to follow this tutorial for my future knitted garment projects! Thank you<3

Thank you for explaining it so well! I’ve always been a little intimidated by top down sweaters but I’m just breezing through it. I’m already planning to make a few more after I’m done with this one! Thank you so much again!
