THANK YOU for getting right to the point. It’s SO frustrating trying to find an instructional video, almost every single one has several minutes worth of needless backstory/ introduction.

Thank you for this. I knew how to M1R but needed a quick refresher since I hadn’t done it in a while. I appreciate videos like yours that are short and get right to the point for those of us who just need a quick reminder, rather than having to watch a 10 minute video with lots of blabbing, for the tiny bit of information that we seek. There aren’t enough short, quick and to the point knitting videos. Your’s was just right.

This is the first video that shows how to place the markers when making M1r and M1l. THANK YOU!

Best instructional video. After sifting through way too many, your video was concise and easy to follow. Thanks!

Thank you! This is the simplest video that I have watched! I can breathe now!

We're still watching!!! Thank you for the very clear instructions. And yes, you make it look so easy! I knit tighter than you do so creating a M1R and M1L is a nightmare though it is getting easier the more of them I do.

“If that feels pretty comfortable for you you’re probably doing it wrong” so funny but so true M1R for me always feels a bit tight and tricky.

I use this to remember:
“I’ll be right back” = go in through the back for a M1R.
“I left the front door open.” Go in through the front to M1L.

Thank you for your nice short video. I watch it as a refresher before starting any increases. I agree that they are "difficult" stitches to get your needle through, and marvel that some find them easy 🤔

I found this video extremely helpful and completely agree when you say the M1R can be tricky. For me personally, because I have naturally tight tension I find the M1R quite difficult to get my right hand needle under the lifted stitch, once the needle is actually in I have no problems, when I first started learning this stitch I used to have to do it with the help of a 0.2mm steel crochet hook, just so I could pull the yarn through! I think difficultly is based on lots of different factors and what's easy for some will be more difficult for others and vice versa.

So much easier to lift the 'bar' with the left needle. When I do it with the right needle, I always get mixed up about how to put it back on the left needle!

Thank you so much for this video. I'm still new to knitting but like to throw myself into the deep end and I love how you explain this. Will definitely be coming back for future knitting projects.

I think this tutorial it's PERFECT. In my pattern I had exactly this same sequence of 1 K between marks stiches and M1R K1 and M1L. And very clear explanation and video. Thank you!
