I'm having same problems and have yet to figure it out

What exactly did you do when you said you hooked the compressor up to it? I'm having the same issues and I checked the fuel isn't pumping to the carburetor. Wanna try this before I go running to find a new fuel pump.

my ikonX lawnmower will start briefly then cut off… any sugg? gonna try a new air filter

If this helps anyone, I ran out of gas and filled it up and it wouldn’t start. I pulled the hose off of the fuel pump into the motor and sucked it till fuel came out and it works now. Looks like it just lost prime
