Circuit Bending an Analogue Video Colour Processor (Video Tech VCC3010)

Another video where I experiment with circuit bending some analogue video gear. For this one I am tearing apart a Video Tech VCC3010. It's a nice wee colour processor from the UK. This involves a bunch of talking about what my logic and approach is, as well as a demo of the final device.

I just bought one of these and waiting on delivery. I'm not sure why I got it, looked kinda cool and I like this SD era stuff. As you like messing with video have ever checked out the Pioneer SVM-1000, it's an amazing box of A/V tricks but is a big heavy beast.

Can you not use those switches to connect and disconnect selected circuit connections you've made, so you can leave the pot settings for them intact but turn them off when needed.

If I want to start circuit bending with out any knowledge of circuits. What are the safety precautions I should take?

12v battery?
Gloves?
Glasses?

Has no one ever shown you a Punch starter for drilling through metal? Just sharpie out the lines, and then use the Punch to define the drill bit's "bite". Stuff will line up, slicker than cat shit on linoleum.
