Mate, love how you do your review presentations. No BS or trying to be a comedian, you just get straight into the real world stuff, very easy to watch and listen to. Well done.

Not sure if anyone else notice it. But both left hand side steps are bent about the same on both trucks. So they must be about the same height from factory. Good video.

Hi 4X4 Australia, I've just seen the CURRENT AFFAIR regarding the issues of the current FORD RANGER. Issues such as suddenly braking at 80 km/h, dash board screen showing nothing and poor customer service. In your future videos, COULD YOU PLEASE INCLUDE CURRENT ISSUES WITH THE VEHICLE (any vehicles) and WHAT THE MANUFACTURERS DOING ABOUT IT (fixes). Your videos influences how our hardworking Australians buy their knew vehicles. You will provide GREAT SERVICE to our community by providing not just the POSITIVE and NEGATIVE reviews about the vehicle but also the actual issues with it. This way, the MANUFACTURERS can be put on notice, up their standards and giving the manufacturers the idea CUSTOMER SERVICE should be their number one priority. Now that's a concept, PASSIONATE ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I would say the Hilux is not bad, it’s still good at whatever is thrown at it! It’s just that the Ranger has set a very high benchmark with the new generation model…

The ranger is going to sell like hot cakes. If I'm going to spend 70k+ I may as well buy the best car available.

The Ranger looks great outside, but wow that interior is several steps above anything else on the market right now. I'm not sold on the biturbo 2.0, hopefully the 3.0 turns out to be a good lump.

It seems side steps on both got damaged during this testing, unless they have factory curve in them?

The front mounted camera is a no brainer. It's amazing that it isn't available as an aftermarket accessory. 360 degree view is very handy also.

The ranger though, keeps traction control active in the front wheels when you go into 4L with the diff lock on.
The rest of the other pickups don't do that. But great video though, just wish they added slightly more torque in the V6 Ranger.

This was the first new ranger review that was not 100% press statement, well done mate

Is it true with prolonged exposure to water crossings and corrugations the electric steering rack fails and a new genuine ford ranger electronic steering rack costs 8 to 10 grand if you can find one ?

Superb, bloody great V6 and permanent 4wd. How much fuel does it burn?

You can hear how much nicer the Ranger is to drive just in his voice😂😂

Which of the three midsize pickup trucks listed will you give 1 seat to? Toyota hailax, ford ranger raptor, mitsubishi l-200?

Anyone who thought the Hilux had a chance of winning this battle was kidding themselves.

Let's not forget the most important thing said.
"Ranger has a brand new engine"
I think if I was going to buy the new Ranger, I would wait a few years till they mastered the build on the engine and pick up anything that goes wrong with it etc.
The reasons Toyota's are so good is because when the new gen comes they really fine tune the reliability of their motors.
If they find any problems they sort it out fast.

The new ford truck looks impressive but how much would be the service maintenance i cant imagine.
