out of all the reviews for this phone, your review was the most helpful information out there. seeing how the phone is well capable with just the basic specs (phone calls, texts, GPS etc.) it fills in all my basic and professional needs. thank you very much with your input on this phone since i was not too sure about my purchase and was having regrets now seeing in other areas it is passable for media needs but it is good for again, for basic everyday functions.

Great review Linus. Had this phone for a month now. Been strictly a Xiaomi user for the last five years, but Samsung are definitely onto a winner here. Slow motion mode is also really cool.

I remember watching your review before buying a A5 2017 2 years ago, After how laggy that phone got I decided I was never gonna buy another samsung midranger again, but I probably would have moved onto this or an A70 if I wasn't lucky enough to be able to get my note 9. Samsung really has stepped up their midrange game this year.

Outdoor visibility is not the best?!? Can you please tell me what devices have you used where the visibility is better because I was blown away about A50 visibility in the sun. Good review though 🙂 Also little people mention dolby atmos option which enchances sound when using headphones

Very good review. I picked up the A50 with Verizon for 240.00 USD. The display, good cameras and large battery 4000mamp nice. For the price it's kinda a no brainer, I highly recommend this phone!

I purchased this for my son with Verizon for 240.00 bucks. He loves it especially the display. I speed tested with my s10+. 1to2seconds slower but some apps identical. I feel this A50 & the pixal3a are both very good buys. Good phones for cheaper!

Is it true the A50 is actually water resistant or splash resistant?
And If you were solely comparing the cameras (in terms of photo quality overall, the speed & performance especially in low light) which would you pick: the Galaxy A50 or the G7 Plus?
