I've been using mine for about three years. It's worked great for me. Still does. Though I'm now starting to think about buying a new phone simply because the highest Android version it runs is 11. Not a problem yet, but eventually apps won't be able to run on it.

I upgraded to the Galaxy A70 from my old S7 Edge and used the A70 from 2020-2022 and it is very similar to the A50. I mean it has a very good screen for its price and also a good battery but the performance became very bad with Android 11 and also the camera was not good. Currently using the iPhone 13 since February 2022 and the only things I miss is my sd card slot and my youtube adblock xd

I really don't know why you bashed the camera and the performance of this one, they're both absolutely wonderful, my sister has had this phone since it came out and to this day it's buttery smooth and doesn't lag or slow down at all, much better than a lot of phones in that price range and we have no complaints at all about the performance of this device, as for the cameras they're also good, very sharp and vibrant and beautiful, no complaints in that area either, the only thing is that sometimes it's too vibrant and that's, I would even consider buying this phone over the newer ones in the A series if it weren't for the fact that it probably won't be getting any more major software updates becuase it's such a stable and trustworthy of a phone

This phone is for someone with the patience of a saint. Slow as hell, unusable fingerprint sensor, buggy and whatnot. One of the worst buying decisions I have ever made.

I have this phone but mine has a screen issue. It flickers when I turn on the screen if its at below 70% brightness. Overall its a great phone.

No one will tell u that the minor bugs will make your experience awful. I am a but of a heavy user and instantly, lag, taking seconds to unlock, being unable to switch apps, etc.

Honestly speaking, buying this kind of a phone today, makes you a smarter consumer than the myriad of bamboozled folks out there who give their money away to these Conglomerate Corporations who from the very start, have opted for getting the most $$$ out of you and me, but giving us only fractions of improvements on their newly marketed phones, which truly isn't worth the price tag in my opinion! So buying a phone that costs up to $300, is the smarter alternative to giving away $1000 plus to these companies who only introduce a slightly better camera, perhaps a higher RAM capacity, and few other tweeks on their top tier products, when in fact it's all a profit margin strategy for generating maximum profits outta an elusive technique aimed at the average consumer who view these devices as a bragging right, and by obtaining the latest version, such individuals get a sense of entitlement lmao, and think that they're the 💩...

Would you recommend this phone as a backup phone? I'm looking for a backup phone to run multiple apps, something that's not laggy etc I don't care about the camera but mostly performance I saw this phone in a store couple days ago I'm tempted to try it but I'm also very indecisive because I don't want to buy it and later regret it😞

U say is not a really good display, I use 900p monitor, anything beyound is luxury for me.
