i've had mine since it first came out, it's still going strong but has started to be a bit slow and unresponsive, but then again for a 4 year old phone it's not too bad. when it finally dies or becomes unusable i think it'd have done its job perfectly

I've been using it since 2019 and it's a best phone ever 🥰 the most attractive thing is that it's too much lightweight and thin...

I had the a50 in 2019. It was awesome but the display was warmer and more saturated than most devices which was a bummer bc i needed my phone for editing pics and vids. It's like it permanently had eye comfort on even when it's not needed. But otherwise it was a pretty decent phone. I could play honkai impact on that thing. It's easy to carry too and i love the sleek design

I've had mine for many years lost track of how long, but it's never given me any issues.

A friend of mine just gave me one of these to replace my aging LGV20. On it, the android version only went up to 8.0, so some apps were not allowed to be installed. This phone is currently at 11 which is more than enough for my apps. Nice screen, decent battery(at least compared to my lg) and does what I need it to. Great for free 😂

Bought it back when it launched in 2019 and still using it. The phone tends to slow down a lot recently and you can't play newer games 😢 I'm going to buy a new phone soon 😃

I had an a50. Great phone. I LOVED the build design. Thin and light! The only shortcoming for me was having only 1 speaker.

Good video, but I will always have a good opinion of the A50, as any one will spoke good or bad of anything depending of our own experience. It is true this is not going to be a good investment in 2023 except if you buy or got it very cheap or free and you are thinking maybe to go for a custom rom for longevity and I believe it will go a couple more years for every day use. I got mine at the en of 2019, moving from a broken S9 and needed a cheap replacement at the time, I loved from the beginning how thin an light it was, in 2019 and today I still like the flat and crisp display and I enjoyed it a lot, It still works good today as my second phone were I test first any apps, to watch movies on trips to save battery of my main phone and data backup. Today my main phone is an S22+ and it is faster and better in every way (except weight and the high price tag compared in time), but for every day use my A50 still works ok with no complains. I got at Q3 2020 an A51 expecting an improvement but it didn't, for any reasons that I still don't know why, the cameras were a little blurry, the battery didn't last any longer and speed wise the procesor was a rebranded version of the same old one 9611 vs 9610 with no better performance I could tell, so I ditch it and got an S10e (a great little phone that I exchange at the end of 2022 for the S22+) keeping around my faithful A50 as a backup. I hope Samsung will goes again building phones thin and light as the A50.

It's a great phone to buy even now...the only disadvantage is the current android version it is running....android 11 is outdated....

Watching this on an a refurbished a50 i got for for 185 USD (equivalent) and it's holding up pretty well! It's definitely an upgrade from anything older but ofc can't compare to newer phones... considering it's around 1/3 the price of an s21, it's definitely not bad.

A50 seems like a great phone, I got one for free recently, but I have ordered for it the main 2 flex and a battery cuz they were dead, I plugged a charged battery in and it powered on fine, and it still is pretty smooth overall, and it really seems like a decent spec phone

It was a great phone, it had lasted 2 years for me without any issues
But a more year later it's become so bad . The battery started to drain so quickly, laggs, no more software updates and horrible screen burn-ins appeared in its already yellowished AMOLED screen due to age .
I don't recommend it in 2023 despite its extremely low price, it's not worth buying .

Watching this in My A50,
Still running but not Bad nor Better, Decent Midrange Phone with great midrange performance which Is all I need since I got it, But after updates and ageing of the Battery the most hating part is the battery drains fast Nowadays, but no bulging visible, 2 full charge cycle for a Day!, But It was a great deal back in 2019 and also for a 4year old phone I haven’t facing major issues, running slow now, not having the old performance, now the A series were priced way higher. The performance were not higher since it launched, it was an average decent amount of performance, but after 4 yrs it's below average, camera system also degraded. But the screen is still pleasing and very good 👍🏻 very lagging and hot system in recent times. Not worth in 2023.

*it will go high in temperature but recently It got hot as the back plastic comes off 😂 Time to upgrade

6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage is not even bad
