This is a master piece from Freddie's mind. This is called music.

The brilliance of Freddie Mercury still shines brightly after all these years. There is none better!

Freddie was such an amazing composer. Even if you ignore the words, there is a journey through the sections of the music and a definite resolution that feels good emotionally. That's my excuse for listening to it so often. ;-)

Roger Taylor the drummer also is the one that hits all the super high notes

Yes, this was one of the first rock groups I fell in love with... I bought the album this song was on when it first came out. I was in high school and knew this group was going to be epic. There are many other great songs by Queen but none that can touch this. I put it up there with rock song greats like "Stairway to Heaven", "Dream On" and "Freebird"! Thanks for sharing this with us PAV!

Nothing else quite like it from Queen? Go back to '74 'March of the Black Queen' or forward to '91 for 'Innuendo', you won't be disappointed.

Nothing beats this song. Not everyone likes it, but nothing is like it. Freddie was working on 3 different songs and had the genius inspiration to combine them into this masterpiece.

You should check out the mini doc Inside The Rhapsody on YouTube. Brian and Roger talk about the song and the response to it, then Roger talks about the video (ground breaking for it's time) and finally Brian walks you through the master tape and how each track was laid down. Fascinating stuff.
If you like BoRhap, you should check out tbe studio version of The Millionaire Waltz, make sure you have those headphones on both ears though or you'll miss a lot of it.

Freddie’s masterpiece!! No this is a promo video for BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY ... the first ever music video, so to speak. Way before MTV! This song is in the Guinness Book of World Records. If you love guitar do BRIGHTON ROCK, BIJOU, LIAR, NOW I’M HERE Shoot there are so many songs by Queen. For more masterpieces do MARCH OF THE BLACK QUEEN, INNUENDO, THE PROPHET SONG, FATHER TO SON 😩 So many to choose from!! Great reaction!!!

For the sheer joy of seeing Queen Live, look for the "Love Of My Life" in Sao Paulo in 1981. 70, 000 fans who were not English speaking learned the song and sang it back to Freddie. It was touching. "Love Of My Life" in Rock in Rio 1985 is also great. 250, 000 in the audience. A Queen "fun" one is Queen Wembley 1986/#13 with 3 1960's vintage rock songs. But for sheer awe nothing beats the 1985 Live Aid performance.

Since you're a guitar fan, you'll love Brian May on the 12 string for "Love of My Life".

The “live” parts as you put it were filmed especially for this video. The track stayed at the top of the charts (number 1 for 9 weeks?) for weeks and they were touring so made the video to show on tv. The intro is actually layers of Freddie’s vocals, he did all the harmonies himself even though it shows them all singing. Freddie wrote it, it was three songs that he decided to put together. Creative or what? I saw them on tour in ‘75 fantastic and again in ‘77 both times in Southampton. Interesting fact ... best tickets in 1975 were £2.50 Everyone back in those days wore either black or white satin to the concerts. Enjoying your Queen reactions 😊. ❤️Freddie❤️

1.2 billion views as of the same date and remains the most popular music video on YouTube from the pre-YouTube era.

The “Bohemian Rhapsody” music video saw a resurgence in popularity after the release of the same-titled movie in 2018, starring Rami Malek as Freddie Mercury. The film earned a record of its own as the highest-grossing biographical movie.

Can't go wrong with QUEEN!!
Friday Night Football games in high school always had We Will Rock You and We Are The Champions! When they play We Will Rock You and bleed into We Are the Champions, that's the best to me... that's how they usually played on the radio back then. You didn't hear one without the other. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Another One Bites the Dust was one of the most requested songs at the local skating rink in 1981/1982.

To me, " Innuendo" and "Dragon Attack" live at Montreal 81 are right at the top also!

You need to listen to The March of the Black Queen which is even more complex than Bohemian Rhapsody. It was recorded before BoRap and is in a way a forerunner to it though they are not alike in their subject at all. I think it has 11 switches and was so complicated that Queen only performed a small portion of the song live (there is a video of them performing at the Rainbow in 1974). The section they performed was:

"I reign with my left hand, I rule with my right
I'm lord of all darkness, I'm queen of the night
I've got the power - now to do the march of the black queen"

"My life is in your hands, I'll fo and I'll fie
I'll be what you make me, I'll do what you like
I'll be a bad boy, I'll be your bad boy
I'll do the march of the black queen"

👏👏👏👏 reaction. Hard to find “better” lots of other Queen songs which are also excellent and different. Play it everyday ... I hear it every day that’s for sure .. whether I play it (which I do a lot!) or hear it anyway ... it’s become part of my DNA !
