When Freddie fronts up at a concert he has the audience in the palm of his hand

I'm sure if these rappers had shown the decency of actually contacting the artists and asking respectfully if they can use the music, everything would have been cool. What did these guys think was going to happen once the album dropped? The guy who wrote the music isn't going to recognize his own song?

This is one of my favorite Queen (and Bowie) songs too, and this is my favorite version of it. And yeah, the bass line is freakin' awesome, massive props to John Deacon.

Vanilla Ice was a damn thief. The fact that he apparently thought nobody would notice, that he could steal one of the most iconic bass riffs in rock and nobody would *notice?* Makes him a *stupid* thief, too, if I can be brutally direct. This wasn't a "sample" or any of that crap -- when he was called on it, he tried to insist he'd invented it. Yeah. [eyeroll]

Somebody To Love live in Montreal 1981! The vocals and performance in general are absolutely flawless ❤️

I've been a fan since 1973, saw them live 3x, and still find it hard to take my eyes off of Freddie. But, watching your face, your eyes widening, your genuine smile through this video was a delight. Great job, my friend. Now, more Freddie/Queen please! Try "Fat Bottomed Girls" live at the Bowl 1982. And "Who Wants to Live Forever" from the same concert as "Under Pressure"-- live at Wembley 1986.

They sang "another one bites the dust " in this same concert Wembley1986, and it's a great version.

To be fair, Under Pressure was released years before Ice Ice Baby, and was already popular in it's own right. I think it's more that Ice Ice Baby reaches to a different audience that might not know Queen beforehand, and get them a whole new fanbase.

That riff is all Deacy’s, and Vanilla Ice flat out stole it! Freddie couldn’t believe his ears when he heard it on the radio. He immediately called their manager who said “I’m already on it”. They sued him he lost. From this same Wembley concert Another One Bites the Dust and Now I’m Here. They are amazing

David Bowie co wrote & sung on the studio recording. They never sang it together live. To see Bowie sing this live go to The Freddie Mercury triabute concert. Same concert or Live Aid. Bowie sings his song Hero’s” live. 👍

V Ice lost a lot of money for copyright infringement and never really recovered lol. One hit wonder .Wish him the best tho, no hate. This baseline is sick tho. Not a shocker, John Deacon also wrote the baseline for Another on bites the dust, lol. All 4 of these guys were musical masterminds.

React to this song with David Bowie.. i also like it because he sings in falcetto and he reaches some super high notes. React to that particular version of Another one Bites the Dust, but then do the Wembley concert one is great too. Freddie sings the same same song differently every time...At Wemblely one of the two nights he does a lot of improvisation
