OMG, I love, love a neutral, classic makeup look! That’s how I feel my best. I like looking well put together with my makeup defining my features, but I don’t like calling attention to my look because of bright colors, regardless of trends. I just turned 70 last month. I stopped coloring my hair in 2017, and surprise! There was beautiful silver-white hair waiting under those chemicals I felt in bondage to for several years! I retired two years ago and we took off in our RV to explore. People ask why put on makeup at this age and stage of my life…well, I’ve always loved playing with makeup. I don’t feel my age, and I feel more like me and at my best when I’ve taken that time for myself. (Although it’s absolutely alright to be bare-faced)! And I’ve definitely found that less is more starting at a certain age. And that’s been a learning curve for me, but I’m getting it for sure.
